June 16 - July 11:  Central City Swim Clinic
Big thanks to Dominic and Teddy Azar for helping at our Central City Swim Clinic!  We are extending the clinic through July 11.  I am still looking for anyone interested in helping teach the kids how to be safer and stronger swimmers on Monday - Thursday from 1-2pm at the Smith YMCA.  On Friday, July 11, we will host a small swim meet and celebrate with a cookout afterwards at the Smith YMCA from 11am-1pm, tentative.  Please let me know if you can help.

June 29 - July 6:  Olympic Trials TV Schedule
Tune in to watch the best swimmers in the country battle for spots on the Olympic team.

Sunday, June 29 on NBC, 7-8pm
Monday-Thursday, June 30 - July 3 on USA Network, 7-8pm
Friday-Sunday, July 4-6 on NBC, 7-8pm

July 11-13:  Palatine Summer Splash
Entries for the Palatine meet have been posted.  This meet is closed and they are no longer accepting any additional entries.

July 9:  Fox Valley YMCA Tri-Meet
We will be participating in a YMCA tri-meet at the Fox Valley YMCA on Wednesday, July 9.  Warmups will begin at approximately 5:00pm and the meet should only last a couple hours.  Please let me know if you are interested in competing.

July 14:  Illinois-Missouri Area YMCA Summer Championship
We will have a few swimmers competing at this meet to try to get more swimmers and more events qualified for YMCA Nationals.  This meet is only open to kids who are close to Y National qualifying times.  Good luck, JETS!

August:  Olympic Splash Bash
In collaboration with USA Swimming, on a date to be announced in August, we will host an Olympic Splash Bash at the YMCA.  Members from the community will be invited to come on in, have fun, and watch some Olympic swimming.  Details will be provided later.  Stay tuned for information in the newspaper and on the website!
