Kelly Hall YMCA Canned Food Drive
[3.03]
The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is
rebuilding Kelly Hall, a recreation center formerly used by Our Lady of
Angels Catholic School. It is scheduled to open in early 2009, and the
JETS are sponsoring a canned food drive in conjunction with the Y Area
Champs meet in order to help stock this new facilities' food pantry.
You can help by bringing in a can or two of healthy soups, stews, or chili.
We will be collecting the cans at the YMCA during the meet. If every
swimmer brings one can to the Area meet, we could make a substantial
contribution to this cause.
